Lou Jasmine is a London based Portrait/Lifestyle Photographer & Director recognised for her human centred work. Lou's practice explores the breadth of human feeling; from joy and intimacy to vulnerability & loss and the role photography plays in holding what resists permanence.
Her portraits have been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery as part of the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize (2025). Lou has also exhibited in The Power Of (2021) and collaborated with Patrick McDowell on a portrait series celebrating queerness within the London Fire Brigade, presented in collaboration with London Fashion Week at Euston Fire Station.
Alongside her commissioned work for global brands Lou regularly delivers talks, panels and workshops for universities, cultural institutions and creative organisations. Lou's sessions focus on portraiture, storytelling and building sustainable creative careers.
Lou Jasmine understands photography as both witness and invitation; a medium that cannot hold everything, yet insists on trying.
